Monotropism

Wenn & Fergus on the Autism Stories podcast + questionnaire poster

Recently Wenn Lawson and Fergus Murray were interviewed by Doug Blecher for the Autism Stories podcast. WennDinah and Fergus all previously appeared in separate episodes.

Meanwhile, preliminary results of the previously discussed monotropism questionnaire have been announced: according to this measure, autistic people overwhelmingly tend to be substantially more monotropic than the general population. ADHDers are also more monotropic, but not as much as autistic people, unless they are autistic – in which case, they are more monotropic than other autistic people, on average. Research is ongoing.

See Valeria Garau’s poster here. Her conference presentation will follow in a future post.
